No real negatives. Service was a little unattentive with requests for tea and water.

Quality has gone down quite a bit since the new owners took over. Don't think that it was worth the drive from the Maple area. Will stay local for sushi that is much better. Was quite disappointed with the food.

The Geisha Roll was a chef's recommendation and sounded really good on the menu. However there was almost no tuna and waaaaay too much artificial crabmeat which just made the roll seem cheap...

Thank you to the entire staff at Sado for providing us with a wonderful evening (Wednesday, December 12 2012)!!! I can't think of anything that could have improved it. I shall definitely come again.

It's not really a great place. Just going to use my existing Groupon dinner vouchers, after that I won't touch the place even if they paid me. Service was poor, prices were exorbitant, and food wasn't up to par. So all round it sucked.

Service was good. Food was good but we didn't feel it was anything special & they charge a lot more than most other sushi restaurants we frequent. The ambiance & decor of the restaurant is fine but also nothing special. I would not go back without a groupon because I don't think I would pay their regular prices. Compared to a restaurant like Edo further east on Eglinton, who also charges more, it falls short. Edo is a 'finer' dining experience from the ambiance/decor of the restaurant to the presentation & quality of the menu selections.

From Our Editors

Sado Sushi's menu frequently pleases the eye before it satisfies the stomach: according to a 2008 review in NOW Magazine, the maki rolls are "as jaw-droppingly gorgeous as they are a treat to eat." Choosing from 22 special rolls and a roster of sashimi options, guests can pair their artfully arranged seafood with a Japanese entree or soup. A selection of wine and sake washes down bites from the sushi bar, and vegetarian offerings—such as veggies rolled in soybean paper or wrapped inside the cheque—appease herbivorous appetites.
