they would not honour the coupon they told me you had not paid them for 3 months

This place is basically a scam I called to make reservations numerous times After about 6 attempts I was told to make a reservation on the webpage I did, never received confirmation via email or phone call I called to confirm the reservation After 3 times I finally got a hold of the same guy who answered before When asked if they had my reservation he said, "Yeah yeah yeah, just show up, its fine" So we showed up that date/time The restaurant was closed that day I called and the man answered again I was told the restaurant was not open that day and was hung up on Groupon would not give me a refund for this Lessons Learned: 1 This groupon is a scam 2 The phone number for the restaurant goes to the owner, not the restaurant 3 Groupon will not assist with issues with restaurants

Couldn't get a reservation No e-mail response, went to restaurant and it was closed

We arrived at the address at 1245pm for weekday lunch. The door was locked and no note or other info provided as to appropriate followup. Since it was stated on the coupon that no reservation was necessary for a lunch visit, we did not phone Stori. When I phoned the number listed on the coupon for Stori, I was directed to another restaurant a few blocks away-had to take a cab at additional cost and time. The lunch at the replacement property was good, but I was disappointed by ordeal since I have had great experiences with Groupon purchases in the past. I will probably reconsider meal purchases with future transactions. I know that unplanned events happen that disrupt a day, but, a simple note on the door on the Stori door would have helped with whole process. I am weary about this merchant and would try again -with reservation.
