About Panino's Pizza & Pasta

Gourmet pizzas fly through the air before landing on slabs in Panino's Pizza & Pasta's kitchen, where chefs slather the hand-tossed dough with sauce and toppings that complement pasta dishes, crusty paninis, and other Italian menu selections. Pineapple chunks, crisp bacon, and cherry peppers—just a few of those aforementioned toppings—weigh down slices slapped together according to a list of specialty and build-your-own pizzas. Homemade marinara and meat sauces add a hearty kick to pasta dishes, and a pan-seared sole fillet arrives in the straw hat of the Italian fishermen who caught it. The restaurant's BYOB policy means that diners can arrive with bottles of wine or six-packs of beer from their own collections, and a casual, festive atmosphere inspires conversations that continue long after the last plates are cleared.

While the food was decent, the service was not great. Also, there were black things in both of our waters. The server handed us our drinks by holding the rim. The dinner that I received was not the same description as what was on the menu.

We felt the food was mediocre, especially for the price. Although the warm bread was good. The restaurant could use some sprucing up and I did not appreciate the owner lounging on the settee when we entered and telling us to just sit any where.

Felt it was a bit on the dirty side. Felt the restaurant could be cleaner. Music that is played with advertisements is terrible. If food was great you can overlook those things but the food is just ok.

Food was good not great. my issue was the menu posted on Groupon, this was not the menu we were presented at the restaurant. We expected calzones and paninis as well as a wide variety of pizzas as the menu showed. we were told the weekend menu is different? I think this should be explained as part of the Groupon deal.
