She was lovely, but my lashes didn't last the weekend, even following all of the necessary precautions.

Sorry you had a bad experience. Sometimes even following necessary precautions your lashes still may shed more during certain seasons, oily skin, sweating, sleeping improperly, lash growth cycle, just to name a few. There are a number of reasons for excessive loss of lash extensions.
