About Ruchda Wings

RuChDa Wings' founders chose their eatery's unusual name by taking the first letters from their three children's names: Ruth, Christine, and Daniel. These days, the kids can visit their own initials at three different locations or spot them on bottles of award-winning wing sauce. Everyone else, it turns out, comes for the chicken hot-spot's 24 original wing flavors.

The shop's recipes have become so successful that RuChDa Wings recently earned awards at the Atlanta Wing and Rock Festival and the National Buffalo Wing Festival. If you'd like to try the taste that made the chefs darlings of the festival circuit, try the Best Creative Spicy winner, the Honey Cajun, or the Best X-Hot champion, the Russy Hot—both of which took home first place trophies.

The wings were good. I also had a good fish salad. There was nothing big about the meal that separates it from any other wing shop.

They ask if you want your chicken tenders dipped in sauce; they should tell you when they ask that there is a charge for it, but she didn't say anything. When I asked if fries come with the chicken tenders, she said 'yes', but when I got my order their were no fries. When I asked, she said I would have needed to order the combo meal. She didn't say that when I asked her the first time. Great food, but bad communication skills.
