Bin 941 Tapas Parlour specializes in tapas, but its chefs don't take the "small" part of the small-plate concept too seriously. One look at their pomme frites with balsamic drizzle will tell you as much—the plate is piled high enough to be mistaken for a small mountain and can be used to play a quick game of french-fry Jenga.
Rather than focusing on portion size, chefs hope that diners participate in the tapas tradition of sharing. They also encourage guests to split bottles of wine, which complement the plates of mussels, pan-seared gnocchi, and grilled tandoori lamb chops.
