Great tour! Thanks for the trip.

We were all rather disappointed with the lights tour. Although our bus guide and driver were very personable, we spent half of our time driving on the highway to drop off other guests at Butchart Gardens (and back) and then saw very few houses that were well decorated. There was one great street and a handful of other houses on the tour. We came all the way from Sooke for the tour and frankly we could have walked around our neighborhood and had the same effect. We won't be recommending the tour to anyone, and in fact, have been warning our friends not to go.

Driver was very patient with an exceptionally annoying child, however lack of intervention spoiled the ability to hear any commentary from the driver. Prior to departure text notification indicated that the tour, due to low numbers was being combined with the Butchart Gardens lights - did we want to continue at no additional charge or reschedule for another date? I enquired about time, told only a few minutes difference in the manner in which the tours were being combined so thought it sounded like a great opportunity. Upon arriving at the Gardens we were then told it would be another $20 each and that GROUPON had made a mistake. It was not Groupon who notified us, it was ITT Wilson.

Great sound system on board & cute outside lights on bus before... but not on after when getting off? Friendly driver and guide. A little more info would be nice. But not as good a tour as last year re great houses to choose from. No Santa this year? Thought it said that in the literature. Tinted windows didn't allow for the wow factor with the lights as much as the front window. No tint would be better. I'm guessing.
