Surfside Adventure Tours, Victoria

Meant to write this awhile back as we were on the tour this past summer but I felt I should still take the time as it is worth giving Darwin the shout out. My wife and I travel quite a bit, so I won't over state that somehow this was the best tour of our life...but I will say that Darwin provides a professional service from start to finish. So if spending a part of your day being chaffered around a bit of the southern island tasting wine (mostly good) appeals to you, then I expect you won't find a better tour company than this. Top quality (comfortable) vehicle and a host (driver) that isn't looking to dominate your day, but is there when you need him. The agenda/timetable was clearly explained, so we knew what we were working with and of course made the most of it. The wineries of choice are quite good by island standards (not necessarily because of the wine produced) and offer atmospheres to either enjoy your own company or if desired enough room to stay with the tour group and make some new friends. I'm honestly not much of a tour group guy, so the smaller executive van style (10 to 12 people I think) is far better than the standard bus load where it is much less personal...plus you can get up to the tasting bar when you arrive!! When we're looking to do this again with friends, I will definitely use Surfside.

Had an amazing day! What a wonderful tour.. the wineries were great. Enjoyed a delicious lunch at Unsworth Vineyard's award winning restaurant. We also got to see a cider farm and grab a coffee and chocolate in Shawnigan Lake chocolate store for the ride home. The scenery is stunningly beautiful!
