This was the best curry we've had in Victoria. Everything was fresh and delicious, go extra hungry as the Nann bread was addictive.

Great food and nice atmosphere! The portion was a bit small for the price. A bit pricy without groupon.

Read the small print. This can't be used on holidays. We tried to use it on Mother's Day

Great wait-staff who explained the food choices & made suggestions. We enjoyed our meal of lamb, spinach, naan, & rice. Plenty for two of us. The Groupon helps as everything is al a carte.

The staff are nice. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice. However, most restaurants would have the rice and condiments come included in the price of the meat dish. Here, even if you want a bit more spice they would charge you for it! Surprising!!!

Had a fantastic meal! The lamb vindaloo was the best I have ever had. Very tender with intense spices. Samosa's are small but delicious. Order, at least, one for each diner.

From Our Editors

Meals at The Spice Jammer come to your table in one of four ways: mild, medium, hot, or extra hot. True to its name, the restaurant won't skimp on the spice in its East African-style Indian cuisine, but it can also accommodate guests with more sensitive palates or irrational grudges against turmeric.

The menu emphasizes home-style cooking methods, with chefs roasting meats in a traditional tandoori oven or simmering them in zesty gravies. Plates of prawns, chicken, and lamb follow openers of samosas or stuffed naan, and vegetarian curries pack equal amounts of flavour into meat-free morsels of spinach, peas, and potatoes.

Inside the dining room, the leafy fronds of tall, decorative plants offset the warmth of red and cream-coloured walls.
