Reflecting its multi-disciplinary approach, MIMIT—Midwest Institute for Minimally Invasive Treatments—employs a team of board certified practitioners from diverse medical backgrounds. Four fellowship-trained interventional radiologists and two general surgeons helm the staff, which also includes three certified physician's assistants. Together, they approach healing with a focus on function, as well as aesthetics, and aim to empower their clients through treatment education. The team specializes in needle-aided sclerotherapy, endo-venous laser treatments, and radio frequency ablation treatments for venous disease, as well as pain-reduction kyphoplasty treatments for spinal compression. They also rely on a blend of non-invasive and surgical techniques to treat issues ranging from peripheral arterial disease to breast cancer.
