For three generations, The Tangier has been bringing a fusion of dining and entertainment to the Akron community. On top of hosting countless weddings and corporate galas, The Tangier's cabaret has showcased names like Tina Turner, Charlie Daniels, The Temptations, James Brown, and Fats Domino. When guests aren't filling The Tangier for glimpses of A-listers and up-and-coming talent, they're filling the theater's restaurant. Fresh fish, steaks, and Lebanese dishes are plated in the kitchen, and the Backstage Bar serves up cocktails beginning two hours before showtime.

Well lets see show was postponed because of covid then Tangeers was sold and supposedly the show was to happen at a different venue. Only problem is that there was never any communacation from either of the venues. Not even sure if the concert ever happened. Not pleased with groupon or Tangers in Akron. I spent over $100 for 2 tickets and its just lost money because as far as Groupon is concerned the voucher was used.

Show was really enjoyable but food was not what expected. Groupon advertised prime rib and seafood buffet but it was a generic, “Italian”, buffet with rigatoni, chicken, green beans, and sausage & peppers. Just like any other ordinary wedding or banquet buffet. No drinks were included, not even coffee or iced tea. Desserts were pretty nice, tiramisu & cheesecake.

The food buffet reminded me of a wedding or reunion; just a few dishes, food was just ok. The band was really good. We had a great time. Enjoyed the music a lot.

We got there about one hour before the show. The staff made us feel welcomed and showed us to the buffet which was very good. We took our time and enjoyed conversion in the food area. The concert was excellent and very entertaining. Looking forward to going back to the Tangiers in the near future.
