This place insults Japanese food and especially the name Kyoto. I can't speak for the other foods, but the hibachi was just covered in sauces to cover up the taste of the food.
Vegetables were not properly cut up, carrots weren't skinned, instant miso soup, chicken was done last (which I ordered) and tasted like pure salt because of the amount of soy sauce covering it and our cook just felt inexperienced.
Also the preparation of the food when they bring it from the back looks horrible and just slopped on there. The presentation of this place over all shows no relation to Japan or the Japanese culture whatsoever. Should be named "Shanghai Chinese Steak Restaurant". Nobody was Japanese.
