About Umberto's Restaurant & Pizzeria

Some of New York's most familiar faces have been spotted enjoying Umberto's award-winning pizza. Rudy Giuliani. Eli Manning. Victor Cruz. The Statue of Liberty whenever a lightning storm reanimates her. There are more complex entrees as well—including seafood marinara with clams, scungilli, mussels, lobster, and calamari—but the crown jewel of the menu remains the specialty pizzas strewn with authentically Italian toppings such as meatballs and broccoli rabe.

It took well over an hour to get our food served. Both entrees were very salty and one dish was in a different sauce then at any other Italian Restaurant. Definitely will not hesitate to say this Umberto's was no bargain worth the wait!

Eating, for the first time, at Umberto's was a very nice experience. Staff were very polite, gave us a choice to seat. The food was great; the soups and main meal were nicely warm/hot as we like it. The portions were generous, we had to take some home. We will definitely return.
