About Courson's Winery

As the head winemaker at Courson's Winery, Beau Courson puts more than 20 years of experience to good use while he crafts Southern-style muscadine, scuppernong, and fruit wines. Visitors can head to the tasting room to sip samples and purchase bottles of their favorite wine, or browse supplies for making wine at home. Aside from vino, the winery also keeps its shelves stocked with jellies, salsas, hot sauces, and gift baskets.

Whatever preconceived notions you have about what to expect, throw them out the window I was picturing the farm and wine barrels the whole romantic vineyard imagery Courson's is not that The farm is a few miles away However, call before you go so they'll be expecting you if you're doing the wine tasting They were busy with their production duties but they were very gracious and helpful My wife's not a wine drinker but she was smitten with the preserve offerings took her back to her deep southern roots with the mayhaw and pepper jelliesThere are about 30 different wines to taste and with the Groupon you get to choose your favorite to take home We really enjoyed it
