Their omelettes are excellent,and most of the food is a bit above average. The service is excellent, and the owner is friendly. Just your typical Chicago area diner, nothing fancy, it is worth a try.

The food at Sweet Potato Cafe is great! The servers there always nice, and every time I ask for a suggestion from the servers I am never disappointed. I also love the fact that the owners made sure there's plenty of room! Even when the restaurant is busy you still don't feel closed in
