I felt like this Groupon was a waste of money. It’s free to get in and the rides are for young kids 8 and under pretty much. I ended up giving our booklet away. I liked the zoo lights and will do that again but not this package.

Went on 1/1 early to pick up the Groupon strips at five on the dot due to the review of the queues. Found them manageable, waiting less than 15 minutes for each. As a family of four could do our favorites more than once. For older kids the tubes were the most fun, the carousel and mini train were good for young children too. The atmosphere of goodwill and beautiful lights was enjoyable and it was good value considering others were paying $3 per person per ride.

My experience was that I was directed to multiple vendors 5 mins into the event due to ("no more groupon packages available). Lines were over an hour long for a 5 min train ride. Every concession was overpriced and too many people were in the event that made moving around difficult and not safe at times. No live animals, and I understood why but it was still a disappointment at a zoo event. Lights were nice and the location could have been a much better event if better managed. Still paid $25 dollars to park. Groupon not worth it for this event.
