I had my appointment during the summer time with Natalya and have not used Groupon since so I writing this review now. I use Groupon when I want to try somewhere new. When I arrived to the beauty lounge in Georgetown the esthetician was less than excited I was there. The facial says it is supposed to last 45 minutes. She offered me a chemical peel and I agreed for $69 it’s not that much. When I sat on her table there was no music playing, it was not a relaxing atmosphere, and she just started wiping my face. There was no steam or anything to open my pores. She went to town on doing extractions that hurt. Since my pores were not open and my face not properly cleaned it took more effort. I do not have many blemishes to begin with. She did the chemical peel and kept asking me scale of 1-10 how bad it was hurting. It’s a chemical peel so I know it was going to burn, but why are you gauging my pain? It was odd. She asked me 3-4x throughout the process. Once she finished wiping the chemical on my face she said I was done. I paid and tipped. I left looking like a crazy person because of how red and inflamed my face was from her extractions. The whole process lasted 45 minutes. Which was not a spa experience. And there was almost no facial involved.. she cleaned my face with 1 product and applied acid. And my face BARELY peeled from the chemical peel, so in my opinion no part of the process was worth it. I told her I was using Tretinoin cream already, every other day because that is how my doctor prescribed it and I have sensitive skin. She told me to use it EVERYDAY. I’m sorry but you don’t know better than a dermatologist and you ignored the fact that I mentioned my sensitive skin. I would avoid this place.

I am so glad I found this gem, and it was through Groupon !! This has been my 3rd time to The Beauty Lounge and I’m hooked. Natalya is excellent.
