About Mojo Nuevo Latino Cuisine

What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Mojo Nuevo Latino, is the first fine dining Latin Restaurant in the Waterbury area. The chefs here at Mojo Nuevo Latino infuse true Caribbean ingredients into all of our entrees. The Pescado Tropical entree, contains our signature mojo sauce which represents our meaning to our name Mojo Nuevo Latino

What is one of your most popular offerings? How is it prepared?
Our most requested dish has to be the Paella de Marisco. This dish contains everything from rice, shrimp, clams, mussels, calamari, and scallops. It is prepared in its own signature pot to bring out its exotic flavors. This entree truly satisfies those who are known as seafood lovers.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
After receiving my diploma at the Center of Culinary Arts in 2007, my goal was to open a Fine Dining Latin Cuisine Restaurant, to put my skills into practice. My love for cooking, inspired me to experiment with several different types of spices to create the ultimate Latin Fusion dining experience.

What do you love most about your job?
I love introducing my customers to a new kind of Latin Cuisine. Many people are used to the typical Spanish entree containing rice & beans. I take those dishes & incorporate ideas that I have build throughout my chef career. Most importantly, I enjoy seeing satisfied customers at Mojo Nuevo Latino

Way overpriced for small portions couldn’t even CHEW the rubberized meat and parts were undercooked. Was charged TWICE for beans and when she didn’t give me an itemized bill and questioned charges she said it doesn’t itemize when using groupon. So hungry and so much more dissatisfied because the food was unedible except for the tiny sized double charged beans! So upset what a waste of $57!! Never again!!
