first let me please say that emily was great at photographing myself and my son last april, and the name stamped pictures turned out great (from what i could see). i was/am really in love with them and she was very nice the entire time and caught some great moments between he and i. the only thing that i did not like about the expierence, is almost a year later i am STILL waiting on my brag album with the pictures i selected and the free 8x10 (or 5x7?) picture that was supposed to be a part of the package i purchased last year. multiple texts and emails later, and i have not heard one word on the pictures that were taken -- which is a shame because i had (and still do) wanted to use those pictures i selected, run them off, and hang them up in my home. would i use heidi joy photography again? would i recommend? i dont know, because the lack of communication from the photographers end. that is not very professional in my eyes. again, everything was great until! it came time to email the selected pictures that i wanted sent and then nothing. im not sure if i am the only one who this happened to or if i just fell through cracks, because, i get it, busy schedule and all but customer satisfaction all the way through did not seem evident in this whole thing.

You'd be better off buying a selfie stick. Or throwing your money in the garbage.

Had to follow up multiple times for each of the following: 1. to set up the photoshoot, 2. receive link to digital brag book (Groupon), 3. receive CD that I purchased of session ($236 outside of the Groupon) and 4. have yet to receive the 8x10 as part of the Groupon (which I've given up even asking for 3 months later).

I purchased the Groupon deal as a Christmas present for my father. Our first photo session appointment was double booked...so we settled on November 8th (which I thought would be plenty of time to get the pictures back before Christmas). I was told that editing the pictures would take between 1-2 weeks. After three weeks of waiting, I e-mailed our photographer and then received a link to view our edited photos. I placed our order immediately on December 2nd. I was told that this was plenty of time to receive the photos before Christmas. I FINALLY RECEIVED THE PICTURES ON JANUARY 11th. I e-mailed a few times right before Christmas asking for any explanation as to why I don't have the pictures yet and the only thing I was told was that they must have been lost in the mail. Instead of offering to meet me before the holiday or offering to send me a digital copy of the pictures so I could quickly print them out before Christmas, I was starting to be ignored. I ended up giving my father empty frames for Christmas and never even received an apology. Extremely NOT impressed.
