What makes a beer "uniquely crushable"? For 14er Brewing Company, it has to be nuanced and flavorful, without leaving drinkers feeling weighed down after each pint—a crucial combination for the outdoorsy duo that founded the brewery. Today, what started as brewing experiments in late high school and early college has blossomed into a bustling brewery whose cans and drafts are available throughout the Denver area.
Here's a quick look at some of 14er Brewing Company's beers you might find on tap:
- Mt. Massive IPA: a hop-forward beer with notes of citrus and tropical fruits, with pleasantly bitter undertones (6.5% ABV)
- Rocky Mountain Saison: infused with chilis, this spicy beer also bears notes of lime and cilantro—and was a Great American Beer Festival gold medal winner in 2016 (5.25% ABV)
- Maroon Bells Guava is brewed with guava puree, and has a refreshing, fruity finish (5.25% ABV)
