Coconut soup was excellent. Service was very good, too.

The place was empty. It took forever to get menus even though the server sat us. The phone rang unanswered constantly. It seemed to be under staffed. The spicy beef salad which I get in every Thai place Ive evr been in was extremely over salted and had white gritty flecs of which I think was toasted garlic everywhere on the plate. It was covered with beef which was a bonus but was inedible because of the salt. The chicken Satay was barely cooked and rubbery. The rice potion was small and there was a 2 dollar charge for another small scoop which is unreasonable. I dont expect it for free but a modest upcharge or a bigger portion to begin with. Rice is 8 or 9 dollars in 10lb bag which a family of 4 could eat for a month every night. So to charge 2 dollars for an average ice cream scoop of rice is rediculus.We werent allowed to use the groupon for the specials even if we bought 25 dolllars or more of regular priced items which we did....i bought the groupon by mistake thinking it was for media. I called the restaurant and they told me I had no other option but to drive 45 minutes from my house to use it or let it expire. Noodi doesnt have to worry I will not be returning to that location or to the media location. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth.
