The Duck Commander Company began in 1972 in West Monroe, Louisiana, just one year after its founder, Phil Robertson, patented his first duck call, which he had whittled from Louisiana cedar. Soon, the business had its own warehouse behind Robertson's home, where he lived with his wife and their four young sons. In this humble space, the company struggled through its early years, only to later become the multimillion-dollar family empire made famous by the reality TV show Duck Dynasty.

Now, the warehouse serves an entirely new purpose: retelling the rags-to-riches story of its founder and his clan as a 15,000-square-foot museum.
