Sailing all day on a perfect temp day is like unrealistic. The drinks are great!! BLLT!!!!!!! I think I need the season pass
Terrible customer service!!!! The waiter took forever to come to our table, the waiter never came back to check on us and see if the food was alright, or if we needed anything. Most definitely will not re returning!!!!
To start, we had a good weather day, and a good experience. The food and service was also good. I look forward to going again in the future.
The waiter added 12 "boat fair fees" to my bill for my birthday gathering when we only had 8 people on my bill and my two other couple friends had seperate checks but when we questioned her about it saying that we had all bought Groupon's individually, she said that she would take care of it and we were hurrying to get off the boat before it set sail again as it took her 23 minutes to come back with the bill and when it finally did come back with literally one minute to spare before departure, my husband just paid the bill and we ran off the boat. I then looked at the bill and saw that we were still charged for 4 boat fees! I called the office and left a voicemail to complain but no one will get back to me.
The mini excursion was fun, however, our waiter was a total disappointment. Luckily I did not allow her to mar the beauty of a beautiful Sunday evening.
We had a good dinner and I would recommend however the reason I didn't give five stars is because the bathroom needs and update or to be checked and cleaned out periodically.
I loved the cruise and would love to do it again!!!
They suppose to open 4 to 9, but they close when they don't have enough customers. You can call and ask their schedule but you won't know until you get there. So if you are not going with a large group, I won't recommend. Also when I called, the person who answered was very rude.
just a nice experience for lunch or dinner...especially when the weather is beautiful...i even like hang out at the dock Bar eaiting
From Our Editors
At North River Lobster Company, sea legs and a love for the open water aren't required, but they sure help. That's because the entire restaurant is actually situated aboard the Destiny, a 3-story, 450-passenger ship that takes guests on jaunts through the Hudson as they enjoy fresh seafood fare.
- The Menu: Diners munch on mouthwatering seafood staples such as Lobster Rolls, New England Clam Chowder, the Captain's Special Maine Lobster, and finger-sized offerings from the raw bar. Fully stocked and staffed bars quench thirsts with beer and wine, along with nautically themed cocktails.
- The Cruise: The Destiny ventures into the Hudson up to four times each day, treating guests to views of the New York skyline as they eat and drink. Enclosed areas on each level provide shelter from the occasional drizzle or overbearing summer sun.
