When OMEscape debuted their room-escape games throughout China, the company caught international attention, including a writeup in the Wall Street Journal. Thanks to their popularity, the brand has expanded to New York, offering gamers one of three adventures.
During the Laboratory of Biohazard, groups must find a cure for a neurotoxin developed by a mad scientist; and in the Penitentiary, adventurers must break out of a cursed prison cell that once housed a notorious serial killer. In Room X, players are trapped between two space-time warps and must find their way home, much like Crispin Glover during the filming of Back To The Future 2. All games are equipped with high-tech machines and they all give participants the chance to live out their super-hero fantasies.
No matter the room, guests have just 70 minutes to work together to solve the riddles and puzzles that lead to their escape. For groups that don't quite make it out in time, the staff may provide hints.
