When owners Tom and Kristie Kiper decided to open a gym, they were determined to make it accessible to everyone of all fitness levels. Today, they and their team of trainers teach the CrossFit system to fulfill that goal, as the system can be scaled and customized to suit all levels, from elite athlete to someone brand new to the world of fitness. They also offer continuous encouragement during intense sessions of ever-changing daily workouts that utilize functional-movement exercises, such as tossing medicine balls, jumping on and off plyometric boxes, and lifting weights. It’s a system, too, that rewards participants with enhanced agility, strength, and speed while prepping them for all work, sports, and daily activities.
