Girls on The Run Palm Beach, a branch of the international organization that serves more than 80,000 third- to eighth-grade girls across more than 190 cities, inspires gals with innovative programs designed to build their self-confidence and foster a healthy lifestyle, culminating in a 5K running event. Trained female coaches lead a 24-lesson curriculum, which encourages adolescents to examine their personal values, teaches them importance of team building and supporting others, and motivates them to make meaningful contributions to their communities. While girls work through these valuable life lessons, the coaches guide them through training to complete a 5K race, instilling their young minds with a sense of accomplishment and proving that anything is possible with the right attitude or with a jet pack.
