The big moments in life, such as weddings or the birth of a child, are easy to remember like they happened yesterday. Photographer L. Severson makes sure all of the smaller moments are just as memorable, snapping evocative pictures that capture everything from the pregnancy glow of an expectant mother to the peacefulness of a sleeping newborn. Year-round, she photographs families inside her fully equipped studio or right outside, where a four-acre portrait park makes a beautiful backdrop with a pond and wooden bridge. After photo sessions, she helps clients decide on colorful prints they can hang over a fireplace or on a wall.
