Lupe made me very comfortable, and the shots turned out really well

Lupe is not good at communicating. Expect extremely short email responses that probably won't even address the questions you asked. My partner and I were also unhappy with the photos we got. Lupe did not ask me before or during the shoot if there were any specific poses I had in mind or anything. I should have spoken up but I believed that a professional would get me into some good poses. Out of an hour I had probably 10 poses and only liked 2-3 of them. Those weren't amazing by any means but rather the best of the worst. The lighting looked good on the little screen on his camera when we did test shots, but was not flattering when looking at larger images. He also did not arrive before the session, so I had to sit around and wait almost an hour to get started. Fortunately there wasn't someone booked right after me so it worked out but it still struck me as unprofessional, especially since we had the appointment well in advance so he knew exactly what time everything was happening. But communication was definitely the biggest issue. Before the session, after the session. Only book with him if you don't mind working with a photographer who seems to think he can't take 5 minutes or less to type out an actual email response instead of a couple words. And if you are delayed in getting back to him right away it will annoy him, as he told me in the photo session that he hates it when women take too much time to pick which photos they want. I informed him after the session of exactly why I had to wait to buy a photo package from him, because of a large unexpected expense that came up literally the day after the photo shoot. Well he never bothered to respond to that at all so I guess not only will I not get the one print and cd of images that I paid for with the groupon, but I definitely won't be paying almost $200 to get the rest of the photos from him. I don't like leaving negative reviews but I had to for this. I cannot recommend Lupe Aguilar.

Showed up 45 minutes late for our appointment and then took another 30 minutes to set up. Then showed up 30 minutes late when I went to look at the photos . He forgot about both of our scheduled meetings. This was very unprofessional.
