Ramsey Massage at Salon Lofts, Columbus

SCAM!!! YOU DO NOT RECEIVE (3) 60 MINUTE AROMATHERAPY MASSAGES!!! My 1st appointment was 10 minutes of testing, 10 minute massage of back, hands and feet, and 20 minutes of a tent over my head for aroma therapy. For my 2nd appointment, I asked if we could just do 60 minutes of massage as the 1st appointment did not fit my needs. Adrienne said sure, I will just charge you the full price which would be 2 of your aroma therapy massages. I was already there and in pain so I said ok because the other service was a waste of my time...after she was done she asked me for my credit card. I asked why, she said because I owed her $7 for the hour massage after she just dinged me for 2 hours of massage. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, FELT LIKE A SCAM! WOULD REALLY LIKE TO GET A CREDIT TO GET 2 MASSAGES ELSEWHERE TO MAKE UP FOR ONLY GETTING 1 MASSAGE THROUGH THIS SCAM ARTIST!

My first massage with Ramsey over a year ago, was great, so that's why I decided to go back when I saw this groupon. However, I was quite dissapointed with the service provided this time. The groupon stated one hour Aromatherapy massage, which I like, but when I scheduled the appointment it said that the groupon was the massage plus sleep session which was not stated in groupon. When I got there we spent about 10 minutes in an evaluation, and answering questions regarding what oil would benefit me the most (honestly i did not expect that). The actual massage was about 15 minutes a back massage which was good, then about 5-10 minutes rubbing some lotion applied to my hands and feet which was not an actual massage. Finally the sleep session which lasted about 20 minutes and I just couldn't wait for it to be over. I didn't know the details for this type of massage, nor was stated in the groupon . That information should be included in the groupon, so that people are aware of what type of service is offered because I wouldn't purchase this service to lay down and "sleep". I really enjoy a massage, but I feel that I wasted my time and money with this service because the actual massage time was about 15 minutes and the rest is something I am not intersted in, nor would pay for that service if I would have known exactly what it involved. Having said that if you don't mind paying to receive only a third of an hour of massage and the rest of sleeping and answering questions, then go for it.

The massage portion was great. I wasn't expecting the aromatherapy portion to be set-up the way it was. If you are scent sensitive, this may not be for you.

The massage therapist was excellent and very professional . She answered all of my questions.
