About Horseng Farm

What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Our horses, instructors, and exceptional facility. We offer everything from trail riding, to jumping, to sidesaddle, to carriage driving, and even vaulting. Don't know what that is? Come and find out! :)

What's one tip for first-time students that will make them feel like veterans?
Please wear long pants and a shoe with a small heel. Helmets are provided and will be required to mount a horse. Traveling a distance to get to us? Families and siblings will also love to visit the Lehigh Valley Zoo or Crystal Cave and make a day trip of it!

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
I had a pony when I was young. The hours I spent at the barn, grooming and grazing him, riding through the woods, and hanging out with my horse-crazy friends were definitely the best times of my life. I want to share this happiness with others.

What do you love most about your job?
We are all crazy here. Horse crazy, that is. Humans and horses have a unique bond that is unlike any other. We love to watch horses and riders progress and work their way up through the levels of horsemanship. Please visit www.horseng.com for more pictures and information.

It was ok. My girls just kind of hung out while other kids were there getting private lessons. I don’t see it as a total waste because they got to run around the farm and meet the horses and watch other kids ride but i wouldn’t have spent 5 hours there if i knew what it was. Something simple like giving them a picture of a horse to color would have improved this experience. We left an hour early.

This was an awful experience. When we arrived, it was clear there was no supervision and no scheduled activity for the Mini Horseback Riding "camp." The woman who checked us in told my daughters to go with some older girls who were there for riding lessons, and that was the extent of any staff interaction with my children. After about an hour, I received a phone call from my crying daughter (the call came from the Farm's business phone number but no one who worked there spoke to me; they just put my 8YO daughter on the line). I went to pick them up 3 hours early and arrived to find them eating the lunches I had packed for them outside and alone. Anyone could have come and grabbed my children and no one at the farm would have known or cared. This was not only a complete waste of money; moreover the environment was unsafe and the staff completely irresponsible.
