After a delicious dinner I went to pay my $110 bill with a $50 Groupon and credit card. When the waitress returned she informed me that the owner would not accept the Groupon because the daily special was excluded. I asked to speak with Mr. Kennedy, the owner, who said that the menu item "Fish of the Day' was in fact a special and specifically excluded on the Groupon. (The actual special was a porterhouse steak.) My spouse did not have the fish, so even if the fish were a special, her meal would have qualified for the Groupon. After a 10 minute uncomfortable wait, the bill was adjusted to reflect the Groupon. It is a shame that the owner made my party and the two other tables in the restaurant uncomfortable with this meaningless confrontation.

Fantastic! Better and better each time I go, am always looking forward to see what's coming for the next season. This is the only place in Williamsburg that you can get this kind of dining experience
