Licensed aesthetician and nail technician Jesse Bruner artfully prunes and dresses digits with colorful polish inside Michael Christopher Salon, which was voted Best Day Spa in Delaware Today's Best of Delaware 2010. Wielding products from such brands as OPI and Young Nails, Jesse first cleanses fingers before filing their caps into sleek frames or US president silhouettes. Tools then gently ease cuticles off the nail, paving the way for brushes to paint on new hues or for buffers to impart gaze-grabbing shine. During the pedicure, feet can fashion bubble mustaches in a whirlpool spa as toenails undergo a clipping. Both overgrown cuticles and calluses flee while Jesse sloughs away superfluous skin, and an exfoliating scrub hydrates gams from the calves down. Finally, a massage with body butter saps tension from arches, and polish covers reposing toes in vibrant shades.

Jesse is VERY professional and pays great attention to detail. He did my French Manicure gel nails for my wedding and did a wonderful job! He is very passionate about his work. He also patiently and thoroughly answered all my questions (since I never had gel before, I had a lot). He also did an excellent job with the removal process and reapplication, taking care not to damage my natural nails.
