Ohio Renaissance Festival, Waynesville

Always a fun time!

I've attended The Ohio Renaissance Festival every year since I was in high school. I have loved watching it grow to include so many different activities, shows, and vendors. I love how meat lovers can get a turkey leg from the Pleasant Peasant, but my vegan boyfriend could enjoy falafel from Jerusalem Cafe. While eating you can watch acrobatics, listen to live musicians, cheer during a joust, or peruse the shops. I, of course, think it's more fun to dress up, but that isn't a requirement and it's tons of fun either way. Some people say this sort of event isn't their thing, but I think that is almost literally impossible. My 2-year-old nephew, mid-50s mom loved it, mid-20s friend and her 4-year-old daughter all loved it.There is something here that appeals to almost everyone and I cannot recommend this festival enough.

It's been two years since my last visit and I was pleasantly surprised by the new additions of shops, eateries, and entertainment. Loved every minute of our visit Sunday. Also, there were plenty of resting places and clean bathrooms.

This was our first time going. We had so much fun. My husband now want's to attend next years.
