Golden Irene's- the atmosphere is very homey- with a fireplace that uses a computer screen log fire (sounds hokey, but it really is nice!), it's located in a quiet/safe area, the staff is very attentive and friendly, the food is varied- not same old, same old (amazing specials) and absolutely phenomenal (SOUP!!!), think Grandma's comforting food- AFTER she trains at the Culinary Institute, the portions are so big they REQUIRE leftovers, and their prices are quite reasonable. WE LOVE GOLDEN IRENE'S! Burma& Steve

It was quite a while ago that we were there. We were seated next to an obnoxious couple near the exit off the main dining room. The food was average and a bit pricey for what we ordered. The service was OK, but not great. Part of my judgement of a restaurant is the men's room. The men's room decor was poor, the doorknob was falling off and I was amazed that it was so not like the dining area which had a comfortable feel to it. In all, my wife and I decided that it was not a place we wanted to come back to.
