Bistro at the River's menu of contemporary European-inspired fare delights taste buds amid the soothing sounds of lapping riverfront waves. A blend of Canadian and Old World influences abound on the menu, from the appetizer plate of Montreal smoked meat with garlic butter and flatbread, to the fluffy foccacia-bread sandwich made with Lake Erie perch. Guests chow down on handmade burgers and pizzas, or dig in to inventive pasta dishes, such as a chicken and mozzarella penne mac and cheese, or lasagna layered with thin crepes. Bistro at the River's open kitchen creates an intimate atmosphere, and stone columns adorned with golden bands and initials of gargoyle sweethearts surround chairs and tables in the indoor dining room.
