It was OK, seemed run down. Small rink with big columns taking up a lot of space. Friend had to try several pairs of skates to get a pair that didn't have nails or something sticking through. Friday night, really crowded, lots of kids. I wasn't skating b/c of a foot injury and was sitting on a bench watching the skaters. Kids were skating on the carpet outside of the rink & going really fast. One ran over my foot. It would be nice if they would have a a few times of adult only skating during the night, like 5 or 10 minutes every half hour or something. There were these tiny little kids using skating trainer things and I saw people nearly collide with them because they would suddenly move out in front of people coming around a curve. It was really dangerous and made skating not fun for those trying to avoid those kids. they weren't paying any attention, of course, they are just little kids. There were no adults around making sure they didn't get slammed by someone! They shouldn't be allowed to be out there doing that. They should be skating over in the practice area with an adult attending to them. OR they should be required to stay in the middle of the rink area and an adult should be required to be out there with them! If it was my kid, I would have been out there with them. Those kids almost got slammed several times, or skaters nearly fell trying to avoid them. It was crazy. I was nervous just watching.
