Mud, Sweat & BBQ, Woodburn

At this 5K run, participants race through colorful Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm. As part of a series of 12 obstacles, runners will confront ponds, irrigation pipes, and even a slip-and-slide in order to reach the finish line. Spectators are also invited to join the shenanigans by showering muddy participants with water guns and water balloons.

After the run, participants and non-participants alike of all ages can enjoy live music at the Brewfest — including Memphis's 2015 International Blues Festival "Best Guitarist" recipient Ben Rice Trio. After working up an appetite via running, cheering, or both, attendees can refuel at food vendors such as Real Mexican Food by Teresa Morale, Grandpa Tony’s BBQ, and From Russia with Love Cafe. Those over the age of 21 can relax and refresh with cold beers from various breweries and wine from Wooden Shoe Vineyards.
