Bait and switch and too much MLM product talk. This groupon was for a service worth $130. When I got to the salon, they said that service wasn't available and instead swapped it for a treatment that was $50 retail on their service menu. Complete scam considering the groupon itself was $50. It was a 10 minute service and the aesthetician was promoting MLM skincare products. Unprofessional and not the least bit comparable to the $130 service offered. Don't waste your time, unless you want to buy her MLM products that no one has ever heard of. giant eye roll!

Kristin, Our administrative assistant has been very clear explaining requirements for appointments with the issue of Covid19. She explained to you that we are not performing any aerosolizing procedures such as microdermabrasion, as well as masking and no fragrance requirements. She offered you the option of chemical peels, or a full consultation with gommage, a gentle chemical exfoliation with massage, as those are acceptable for new clients. You were told you could decide between those the day of your appointment after assessment of your skin condition.
You made the appointment based on the information.
When you were taken into my treatment room and after seeing your skin and discussion about procedures, I did not recommend the chemical peel due to the fact that you said you were having a laser procedure on your face in two days in Edina. As a Nationally Certified Laser Operator and Trainer as well as a Certified Medical Laser Safety Officer and an Advanced Practice Esthetician, I explained why it was not advisable. I offered you the choice to return at a later date for a microderm or peel or stay and have the gommage. You chose the gommage as you know and seemed to really like it when looking in the mirror. You told me you used to be an esthetician and so I believed you understood regarding any treatments prior to laser and what is safe.
When we went over the products you were using, I mentioned that your growth factor product was similar to one I used personally for breast cancer radiation burns. It was given to me. I have in the past provided to 2 or 3 people with cancer, but never offered you any MLM products. I do not do MLM. That is signing people up for sales and I do not do that at all, ever.
We have on hand Elta MD, Vivier Pharma, Glowbiotics MD, Brevena, Hydropeptide, Revitalash and Zenagen. All are well known to Advanced Practice Estheticians. There was no Bait and Switch- you chose. You spent one hour with me and were informed of everything , provided samples of Vivier CE Peptides and Elta MD sunscreens to try. If you had any issue you had ample time to say so and said upon leaving, in front of staff, "I'll be back".

I had a chemical peel. The results are great. I had a large age spot on my right cheek and it peeled right off after several days. What a relief! It was so ugly and I had been trying to cover it with make-up for years. Great experience. The esthetician/owner was very very knowledgeable. I will go back for sure!
