T.A.Z. Archery, Inc., Woodstock

T.A.Z. Archery owner Tim Zimmerman run his business on his passion for family and archery. (In fact, "T.A.Z." is a blend of Tim and his wife Ann-Marie's initials.) His interest in bowhunting goes back to the age of 14, when he received and immediately broke his first bow from his father, sparking a lifetime of interest in the mechanics of the bow and arrow.

Today, he passes his knowledge and skill on to beginners and pros alike, leading a team of seasoned coaches who've guided students toward local, state, and regional championships. The Junior Olympic Archery Development program, for instance, teaches youth range safety as well as shooting form and techniques, preparing students for archery competitions and a lifetime of sportsmanship.
