What You'll Get
Artistic expression can take the form of a vibrant painting, a stunning sculpture, or front-yard hedges trimmed into the shape of longing. Let creativity blossom with today's Groupon to Adventure in Art. Classes are limited to students 21 and older. Choose from the following options:
- For $12, you get a Girls' Night Out fused-glass jewelry-making class (a $25 value).
- For $20, you get a Paint N Pour class (a $40 value).
- For $30, you get a Glass Fusion plate-making class (a $60 value).
The fun-loving artisans at Adventure in Art impart students of all experience levels with the skills to craft take-home masterpieces via jewelry-making, painting, and glass-fusion classes. During 60-minute Girls' Night Out sessions, up to 20 attendees practice jewelry-crafting techniques, forging a choice of signature pendant, ring, or a decoder brooch. Like Bob Ross in 3-D, three-hour Paint N Pour classes whisk away up to eight participants to the world of canvas painting with all of the tools provided.
While sipping their own wines, amateur Picassos follow instructor tips and tricks, imbuing 16"x20" canvases with their vibrant take of the class’s theme du jour. Alternatively, glass-fusion workshops teach groups of up to 20 to mold 8-inch plates or bowls from the provided glass supplies or obsolete computer screens. Consult the site's calendar to see the dates and times for each class.
Though the Girls' Night Out and Paint N Pour classes are BYOB, no alcohol is allowed at the Glass Fusion class.
