Seasoned shutterbug snaps shots in great outdoors before editing & placing high-resolution images on DVD & online gallery for home printing
Photography is an easier way to preserve family memories than weekly staged readings of grandma’s teenage diary. Immortalize the present with today’s Groupon: for $59, you get a photography package from Alon David Photography (a $425 value). The package includes the following:
- Photo shoot of up to one hour for up to six people or pets at Mission Bay, Balboa Park, or Presidio Park
- 25 high-resolution, edited images on DVD
- Access to online viewing gallery
The seasoned, eponymous shutterbug behind Alon David Photography specializes in elegant images of children, weddings, and architecture, harnessing an artistic eye he sharpened as a professional designer. During the one-hour shoot, the photographer snaps candid shots, group portraits, or headshots set against idyllic, Mother Nature–created backdrops devoid of art-directing squirrels. The photographer then selects 25 images of various poses, which are given a high-resolution makeover replete with a combination of sepia, black-and-white, and full-color palettes. Alon then immortalizes the freshly edited snapshots on a DVD and in an online gallery available to view within 24–48 hours of the shoot. Clients can print their photos at home or order their shots as professional products (not included in this Groupon), such as albums, canvas prints, or temporary tattoos. This Groupon covers a photo session for up six people or pets, but extra subjects may be added for an additional $35 each.

About Alon David Photography
As the lead designer for a large contractor, Alon David frequently contacted photographers to snap photos of his team’s work. However, his aesthetic preferences rarely matched up with the photographer’s, so he began to do the job himself. After the hobby blossomed into a passion, Alon decided to open his own photography studio.
Since then, he's brought his keen eye for design to his primarily outdoor photo shoots with kids, couples, and families. He often experiments with camera angles, snagging eye-level shots of toddlers to view the world from their point of view, or snapping overhead pictures of his young subjects to capture their innocence and curiosity. He likes to tinker with the focus, too, shifting between large and shallow depths of fields to focus on one subject and make the other blurrier than a cheetah in a sports car. The resulting black-and-white, sepia, or color photos are always carefully framed around the location, such as the large exposed roots of a Moreton Bay fig tree at Balboa Park.
