Bushwhacker Cider

The folks at Bushwhacker Cider not only sell and drink cider—they make cider, too. What started in 2010 as a fledgling operation, Bushwhacker has grown to include two locations and a lineup of signature, small-batch ciders. Read on to learn more about each aspect of the business:

  • Brooklyn (Location #1): It opened in 2010 with a comparatively measly selection of 35 ciders, considering it now boasts more than 300 bottled ciders from all around the globe, plus another eight on tap.

  • Woodlawn (Location #2): A true cider pub, this location features 12 ciders and two beers on tap, as well as a full lineup of liquor for cider-based cocktails. What's more, Woodlawn also features a menu of homemade pub food, including cider-braised pulled pork and even short-rib sandwiches.

  • Forgotten Trail (Bushwhacker's Flagship Cider): Though it can be classified as a semi-dry cider, Bushwhacker's flagship concoction gets a hint of natural sweetness thanks to its main ingredient—estate-grown fruit sourced from eastern Oregon. Estate-grown fruits also make an appearance in Alice, a crisp and tart cider that has become a favorite of customers and staffers alike.
