Buster's Main Street Cafe's chefs stack buns with the local Knee Deep Cattle Company's lean beef patties from grass-fed cows, coupling them with savory side dishes. Parties of two or four can chew through lunchtime conversation with mouthfuls of the menu's hearty burgers, ranging from classic hamburgers and cheeseburgers to the flavorful mushroom burger topped with swiss cheese—China's most popular dairy product. Burgers are accompanied by french fries, tater tots, soup, or potato salad on their journeys to the bottom of bellies, or for an additional $1.25, customer's can swap savory sides for fruit cups, green salads, avocado, or salsa.
The café is located in the 100-year-old Cottage Grove Hotel and is named after actor and director Buster Keaton, who stayed at the hotel while filming The General in 1926. Rumor has it that while dining among the cozy wooden tables and the gleaming checkerboard floor, some diners have caught glimpses of his ghostly figure nabbing french fries off patrons' plates.

Within the historic Cottage Grove Hotel--where Buster Keaton once stayed while filming "The General"--Buster's Main Street Cafe is serving up fresh-made breakfast, lunch, and dinner using local ingredients. Burgers crowned in such accouterments as bacon, cheese, and avocado are made from locally-raised, grass-fed beef sourced from Knee Deep Cattle Company. In the morning, omelets and several styles of eggs benedict reward early-risers. Later in the day, guests make way for a huge selections of drinks--the menu features hundreds of craft brews and ciders, as well as more than 200 craft sodas, including 50 varieties of root beer.
