Our server was excellent. The manager didn't want to allow us to use the face value of the Groupon, but when we showed our server the rules of Groupon, she allowed it. She was very nice and did a great job wrapping our left overs.

The groupon said you should have a reservation, so I called. When I got there I had to wait anyway, which was not that big a deal except that no one acknowledged me sitting there AT ALL---not one comment, like asking asking if I had a reservation, or if I was waiting for anyone, or said they'd be with me in a minute. Not even "hello", but yet talked to the group that was sitting waiting before me, and I noticed people coming in after me were acknowledged right away. I felt as if I was purposefully ignored. I honestly would have left if I didn't have the groupon. After I was seated service and food were very good. I will definitely give them a try again and see how it goes next time.

What You'll Get

Mexico is a land rich in natural resources, ranging from the pico de gallo mines of Guadalajara to the yappy dog reserves of Chihuahua. Feast on exceptional exports with today's Groupon: for $10, you get $20 worth of Mexican fare at Cactus Blue in Bethlehem.

Cactus Blue prides itself on serving up authentic Puebla cuisine, as well as popular Mexican dishes that garnered this eatery the title of favorite Mexican restaurant in Lehigh Valley Style's 2010 Decadent Dish reader poll. The massive menu boasts more than 75 dishes, which include the Fajitas Blue with pork, seasoned strips of grilled pig accompanied by pico de gallo, guacamole, flour or corn tortillas, and an elderly bluesman on harmonica ($14.95). Peninsula enthusiasts engage with baja-style tacos filled with beef or chicken and topped with red cabbage, baja sauce, and cheese ($12.95). Opting for a lighter meal of grilled tilapia ($14.95) saves stomachs room for tres leches cake, a sweet sponge pastry drenched in three types of milk ($5.95). Cactus Blue is BYOB, ensuring that diners can sip on their favorite spirits while ensconced in the restaurant's warm-hued, red and burnt sienna interior.

TripAdvisors give Cactus Blue an average of 3.5 owl eyes and 23 Yelpers give it an average of 3.5 stars. Four Citysearchers give the restaurant a five-star average.
