Putt N’ Crawl mini-golf bar crawl opens for sign-in at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 13. After registration at Jacksonville Landing, teams of friends dressed in their best golf attire navigate a course of 9 home-built mini-golf putting greens, kicking back $2 drink specials (with a flash of a wristband) at participating bars along the way. They might even catch sight of celebrity teams who are putt-putting alongside them. Each entrant receives a wristband, several prizes, a map, and a scorecard.
Putt N’ Crawl
It’s fairly normal to drink at a golf course, but it’s not everyday you get to golf in a bar. Let alone 10 different bars. That’s the premise of the Putt N’ Crawl, a philanthropic bar crawl that sends participants on a 9-hole course through nearly as many bars. Each “green” is built by a different charity, giving both golfer and charity the opportunity to win prizes or raise money with every sunk ball. While waiting their turn to putt, crawlers can use their wristbands to take advantage of discounted drinks, and get their costumes on point for the best-dressed awards ceremony that will take place at the afterparty. Celebrity teams have been known to show up, much as they might in the Pictionary parties gossip columnists throws in their dreams.
