Each WOD (Workout of the Day) varies from session to session, often fusing elements of track and field, gymnastics, weightlifting, and strongman exercises. No matter the inspiration, each workout is short and intense, with students often climbing ropes to the ceiling, performing lifts, or doing dips on suspended gymnastics rings. The regimen is designed to teach functional movements found in everyday life, improving students’ ability to push, pull, squat, jump, throw, sprint, or carry 100 pounds of groceries.
