What You'll Get
A recently discovered alternative to the indoors, going "outside" offers adventurous explorers exposure to things such as wind, sunshine, and the naturally occurring mazes found in cornfields. Leave the indoors with today's Groupon: for $7, you get corn-maze admission for two plus one u-pick pumpkin at Cooper’s CSA Farm & Maze (up to a $19 value), located in Zephyr. This Groupon expires November 7, 2010, and is valid for any daytime, evening, or event visits.
Each fall, 10 acres of cornfield on Cooper’s family-owned farm is transformed into a living labyrinth, and guests roam about the massive maze under the open Ontario sky. Your Groupon is good for dual admission to the maze—designed this year to pay homage to the Toronto Maple Leafs—so you can flirtatiously skip down the dirt paths with a dreamy date, or ditch a disappointing date amidst the kernel-lined twists and turns. The maze is family-friendly and is an excellent way to tire out rambunctious squirts dead-set on tearing through the plowed paths, and daredevils and the undead will want to explore the maze after dark via flashlight, phonelight, or moonlight. Cooper’s “corn cops” roam the maze’s roads, seeking out stragglers, so rest assured that you won’t disappear in the windy and seemingly never-ending aisles, like during your last trip to Honest Ed's.
Once you make your way out of the maze, wander over to Cooper’s pumpkin patch and pick out your favoured squash for future carving contests, bread baking, or moisturizing face-mask-making endeavours.

About Cooper's CSA Farm & Maze
Steve and Lisa Cooper haven't just vowed to stick together through sickness and health. The recipients of 2010's Ontario Outstanding Young Farmers award have made that pledge to their land, practicing sustainable, eco-friendly farming that yields Cooper's CSA Farm & Maze's wealth of produce. Through their community-supported agriculture program, the Coopers' pair members with weekly baskets of veggies, fruits, and meats such as free-range chicken, hormone- and antibiotic-free Angus-grade beef, and pasture-fed goat and Berkshire pork. Their farm store stocks the same locally produced goods alongside preserves, local honeys, dressings, and cured meats.
Tours of the family-owned farm give guests a behind-the-scenes look at the Coopers’ methods, along with wagon rides that wend through the property and goat and chicken walks that introduce visitors to the livestock. Elsewhere on their grounds, a 10-acre corn maze stymies attempts to navigate its labyrinthine twists, a pumpkin patch overflows with gourds ripe for picking, and horse swings let youngsters mimic galloping on small steeds without having to shrink a real horse in the dryer.
