About Dragonfly Cinema Movie Theater
Dragonfly Cinema Movie Theater takes its role as an arthouse theater quite literally. Not only does the Bay Street landmark—whose history stretches all the way back to 1914—frequently showcase a lineup of independent, local, and classic films, it also serves as a gallery where local artists and sculptors can display their work. Second-run flicks also make regular appearances on the Dragonfly's screen, and staff always welcome suggestions for future films from audience members or the ghost that's rumored to hang around the projection booth.
