When the black alien oil causes your car to lock all its doors and drive itself to a mysteriously empty grain silo, your body will need a new way to get its driving ya-yas out. With today's deal, $25 gets you a one-year membership ($25) and two races ($36) at Fast Lap in Las Vegas, a $61 total value. Two additional races are included with the annual membership (one on the date you redeem the Groupon and one during your birthday month), giving you four total races with this Groupon. You also get $18 races throughout the duration of your membership (non-member price is $25).
The professional and faced-paced atmosphere at Fast Lap made the engines of Los Angeles-area CityVoters purr with positivity. They named it Best Recreational Activity in Inland Empire, a distinction Fast Lap celebrated by swiftly slamming a gallon of buttermilk. Designed by professional IKF racers, Fast Lap's course is 20 feet wide and features 1,200 feet of snaking turns, curves, and time warps. Racers can reach speeds of up to 50 miles per hour during the 18-lap races, faster than light in super-slow motion. Each lightweight, gas-powered kart includes top-notch handling and response, so drivers of all experience levels will feel right at home in the vroomy four-wheelers.
The go-kart track is a great place to settle road-rage arguments by inviting an obnoxious driver to a kart-duel at high noon. Seize the opportunity to prove to your friends that the six times you failed your driving test were, in fact, the results of five flukes and one hobo curse. Or just cruise out solo, defeating total strangers in a wild day of rubber burning and dust eating.
Not valid on holidays.
Reviews
Six Yelpers give Fast Lap an average of 4.5 stars. Three Citysearchers and three Insider Pagers both give it a four star average.
- The karts were by far the fastest I've driven at a place like this. It was such an adrenaline rush being out there, chasing down cars in front of you and trying to pass them. – Tim S., Yelp
- Fast Lap gives you a nice printout of your entire set of laps, so a person can spend years arguing with, say, their brother over which proves the better driver: fastest one-lap time or fastest average time. – B. L., Insider Pages

About Fast Lap
At Fast Lap Indoor Kart Racing, which earned CityVoter's Best Sports and Recreational Activity title in 2009, visiting motorists whirl around a 1,200-foot indoor track designed by former IKF racers. Drivers suit up with protective helmets and neck collars before strapping themselves into Sodi karts, whose gas-powered Honda 200-cubic-centimeter engines and miniature horses power them through 10- to 12-minute races. The indoor facility’s professionally engineered exhaust system ensures safe, clean air for all racers as they wind through the course with up to 11 other competitors. Computerized timing systems accurately record photo finishes, and video helmets and race suits are available to enhance the experience. A slew of celebrity guests have been known to frequent the track, giving visitors a rare opportunity to outwit IndyCar drivers or trade high-speed knock-knock jokes with Hollywood comedians.
