Malabar Hill - Elmsford: Two-Course Indian Dinner with Wine for Two or Four at Malabar Hill (Up to 66% Off)

In India, it's considered polite to eat only with the right hand, which leaves the left hand free to tousle the hair of the restaurant's designated scamp. Mind your manners with this Groupon.

Choose Between Two Options

  • $29 for one starter, two entrees, and two glasses of wine (up to a $77 total value)
  • $52 for two starters, four entrees, and four glasses of wine (up to a $154 total value)

The menu includes starters (up to an $11 value each) such as crispy samosas and bhagari jhinga—shrimp with creamy tomatoes and curry leaves. Entrees (up to a $25 value each) include lamb peppercorn fry with coconut, the vegetarian masala dosa stuffed crepe, and chicken vindaloo. Glasses of house wine (an $8 value each) fill with a choice of Indian Sula shiraz or Due Torri pinot grigio.

Malabar Hill

Malabar Hill's chefs carefully craft a menu of classic South Indian dishes, helping earn their food a very good to excellent rating from Zagat. At dinner, amiable servers ferry meals to tables beneath peaked windows and a pointed dome that evoke both the Taj Mahal and the ornate pepper mill on which it was based. Ample vegetarian options, from lentil dal to veggie-stuffed dosas, share space with meaty meals on the à la carte menu or at a daily lunch buffet. And sides of crispy papad wafers, sweet mango chutney, and pan-grilled parathas help soothe mouths singed by spice or showoffy attempts to swallow the fire from underneath a chafing dish.

Food very good. Service also good. Noise level can get high.

It's great place to go adventurous.... Good is pretty authentic and my friend from the Midwest loved the Fish Poriyal and Lamb Madras. It's not the typical Indian restaurant where you get Naan and tikka masala.... And that's a good thing... :)
